Monthly Bulletin from FAO ECTAD China (November)

November issue lists the following updates:

  • 3rd Module of the China Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (FETPV) 2nd cohort and annual seminar of the China FETPV held on the 19th-29th of November, 2013 in Qingdao.

19 officers from the national, provincial and municipality veterinary authorities in China were trained by international experts from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Royal Veterinary College (RVC), China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center (CAHEC) and China Animal Disease Control Center (CADC). The experts are also involved in the LinkTADs project.

  • Animal Health Workshop "Inspection and Quarantine - animal biosecurity on the frontlines" held  on the 12th-13th of November, 2013 in Hong Kong.
  • Participation in meetings on Streprococcus in Guangxi and joint control of TADs in inner Mongolia:

Training course held on the 5-7th of November, 2013mission of the Asian Development Bank on the 20th-22nd of November, 2013; launching the joint project "Joint Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases (TADs) in China and Mongolia" on the 28th-29th of November, 2013.

Upcoming events for December include LinkTADs kick-ooff meeting planned for December 9th-11th in Rome.
