In order to facilitate the EU-China dialogue on AMR issue, and share EU’s advanced experiences on AMR prevention and control with Chinese veterinary authorities in both national and provincial levels,  the EU delegates, MoA of China and EUCTP project decided to organise a joint seminar on AMR in the Veterinary and Food Sector.

This one-day seminar aimed to provide a platform for EU and China to 1) exchange experience on controlling AMU and AMR in veterinary sector; 2) create awareness of Chinese veterinary authority on the urgent necessities to generate a national AMR action plan, and take further actions to participate in relevant international initiatives; 3) explore future opportunities for EU-China collaborations on AMR. This seminar was also facilitated by French Embassy and Denmark Embassy in China.
